Yusuf Bhana

I am privileged to join WSF as the Deputy Head of Secondary with responsibility over Data, Assessment and Reporting. Since completing my PGCE in Mathematics from the United Kingdom, I embarked upon a career in education to make a difference to the lives of young people so that they can achieve their dreams through the power of education. My philosophy aims to provide a world class learning experience that empowers, inspires and nurtures every child to reach their potential and succeed in life. I am a leader grounded in educational research and have had the opportunity to raise standards and outcomes across many communities over the last 10 years. I have taught in a variety of Schools in England and have held a number of leadership positions including Numeracy across the curriculum, Head of Department, Director of Mathematics, Assistant Head Teacher and Assistant Principal. I am also accredited as a Specialist Leader of Education in Maths (SLE).

I am honored to serve the WSF community and I’m very excited to work with the students, teachers and leaders to raise the standards of education so that all students are able to fulfill their potential and are prepared for their next stages in life.
