Student Wellbeing at WSF

Children spend a large majority of their lives at school, so it is important they feel safe, secure and happy each day. At WSF, we are proud that our students recognise all we do to deliver a curriculum that is helpful and engaging. Our students feel positive about school and understand they need to work hard so that they can be successful in the future. Social and emotional wellbeing is essential for effective learning, so it is crucial that schools listen to students’ thoughts and feelings. To do this, each student at WSF completes the PASS survey annually. The survey focuses on three areas - how a pupil feels about themselves, their engagement with the curriculum, and their feelings about school.

We are happy that our PASS results show our students feel happy and engaged in school. You can see a breakdown of our results in greater detail below:


Our Primary School

  • 84% of have high levels of confidence in learning and have high levels of perseverance when dealing with challenging tasks
  • 86% of learners feel prepared for learning and feel the level of challenge is appropriate
  • 79% feel they have strong relationships towards their teachers
  • 89% feel it is very important to attend School
  • 78% have a positive response and attitude to learning tasks
  • 87% have a strong perception of their behavior and attitude towards learning
  • 82% have a strong perception of their behavior and attitude towards learning


Our Secondary School
