Prabh Mokha

Secondary Principal

Having read Law at university in Wales before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in London, I made my best professional decision in 2005 by training as a secondary Mathematics teacher at the University of Greenwich.

Since that time, it has been an absolute privilege to support young people become the best version of themselves possible. Helping a generation develop into kind, creative, hard-working young adults, able to think critically about their role in creating a positive society is truly an honour. I model life-long learning having recently completed an MA in International Education (with distinction) from a UK university.

I bring a wealth of leadership experience from across the world to GEMS Winchester School Fujairah. For five years I held senior leadership roles in New Zealand before moving to Brunei to lead a national project raising numeracy standards across secondary schools.

Within every learning environment I have worked in, I have endeavoured to support students to gain a foundation of wellbeing by creating a nurturing school environment which offers a wealth of sporting, cultural and academic activities that offers all students opportunities to excel.

The goal is for students to become passionate learners, determined to shine in their holistic school life whilst gaining the skills to become inquisitive and resilient adults, able to thrive in tomorrow’s complex 21st century environment.
